Miles Away

We cannot be together, I know

But I can hear you breathing slow

I capture the look on your face

– when you are so amazed

by the love you dare not to say –

from miles away

 

Love does not require proximity,

yet it offers me serenity

Just by thinking of you

I let our souls connect through

I can feel you – your mind, your desire

In the calm of self, I admire

I keep this feeling at bay

in a place miles away...
